On May 12, a bomb attack was carried out in the Saddar region of Karachi, Pakistan. According to initial reports, 1 died and 13 people were injured, 4 of them in serious condition, after the explosion. Medical officials stated that people who taken to the hospital were suffering from injuries caused by shrapnel. Due to the sheer force of the explosion, many vehicles on the road and the surrounding buildings were damaged. Police cordoned off the area, stating that the bomb attack was carried out with an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) placed on a parked motorcycle. Bomb disposal and counter-terrorism teams were called to the area. On the other hand, the moments of the explosion were reflected on the CCTV cameras.
