The Jallikattu traditional bullfighting, which held as part of the Pongal celebrations on Mattu Pongal day, end up bloody in Madurai city in Tamil Nadu state of India. An 18 year-old participant died while trying to catch a bull that was released from its cage as part of the event, and 80 people injured during the Jallikattu. Officials told more than 652 bulls were in the event and 294 people participated the Jallikattu.
