India-based airline Air India Express canceled more than 90 flights after more than 100 cabin crew members suddenly took leave. Air India Express Chief Executive Officer said staff reported falling ill before the flights. While the company, which mobilized all its resources to operate the flights, stated that it revised the flight schedule and did not provide details about sick leave.
Air India Express Employees Union claimed that the staff took sick leave to protest the injustice in wages and promotions.
