The Istanbul Security Directorate’s Anti-Terrorism Branch conducted an operation against the activities of terrorist organizations that abuse religion, such as DAESH, Al-Qaeda, and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). 11 foreign national suspects were apprehended in a seven-district operation. During the raids, a large number of organizational documents and digital materials were seized. The suspects were taken into custody for interrogation.
The operation is still underway, according to reports.
