An explosion occurred as an oil pipeline, owned by Shell, in the Rumuekpe region of the Rivers state in southern Nigeria caught fire. Twelve people lost their lives, dozens were injured, and many vehicles were turned into ashes. Rivers Police said the identities of the deceased are not yet known.
Last year, more than 100 people were killed in an explosion at a smuggled oil refinery in Imo state.
Israeli media revealed that 10 warplanes carried out yesterday’s strike on Hamas officials in Doha, flying 1,800 kilometers through the airspace of Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
