A severe tornado occurred yesterday in the town of Jingouzi in Tieling city in northeastern China’s Liaoning province. Local officials said that 13 people were injured and at least 60 houses and 300 hectares of agricultural land were damaged. Authorities initiated repair work in the damaged power lines in the town. High-speed train services were cancelled.

It was announced that tornadoes were also seen in the provinces of Shenyang and Fuxin, but there were no casualties or injuries.
