The Van Cat Application and Research Center, which carries out work to protect and breed Van cats, which are symbols of Türkiye’s Van province and are known for their friendly nature, silky white fur, different eye colors and love for water, reported that 150 new kittens were born under their supervision this year.
“We had prepared a program for 2024 in our research center. In this program, we were planning to do mating in three groups and we successfully completed this project when we reached the last month of 2024. Therefore, we have a goal of exceeding the previous year every year and we work in this direction,” said Prof. Dr. Abdullah Kaya, the manager of the facility.
