Pro-Palestinian students at Oxford University in England staged a sit-in protest outside the university’s administrative building yesterday, after their call on the administration to review relations with Israel and demand for a meeting with the university administration was ignored. Later, the crowd entered the building and hung the Palestinian flag and a banner with the their demands on a window. The protest was intervened by US police despite all the protesters’ efforts and 16 students were detained.

New footage has revealed the extent of the damage to the “Glass Building” on the Iran Broadcasting Corporation (IRIB) campus, which was targeted by Israel in its June 16 airstrike on Tehran. The explosion left much of the structure unusable—walls were destroyed, windows shattered, and interior items scattered. According to the statement released after the attack, three journalists lost their lives and many others were injured.
