16 killed in bus-truck collision in eastern India

According to police, a truck and bus collided in the Indian state of Jharkhand, killing 16 people and injuring 26 others. The injured have been taken to the hospital, where their conditions are said to be critical. The accident occurred as a result of the vehicles’ high speeds and reduced visibility caused by dense fog.
