The 17th Tehran International Tourism and Handicrafts Fair has opened in Iran, attracting tourism companies and visitors from various countries, including Türkiye, Russia, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka. Turkish tourism company stands, showcasing cities like Istanbul, Konya, Van, Antalya, and Trabzon, are particularly popular. The fair at the Tehran International Fair Center features 987 stands, presenting not only tourism opportunities but also the unique handicrafts and regional dishes of Iranian provinces. Nomads from different regions, including Arabs, Lor, Kurds, Turks, and Bakhtiaris, offer local delicacies, enhancing the fair’s cultural diversity. The event runs until February 15.
