Fire broke out in Kuwait’s biggest oil refinery on Friday. 2 lost their lives and 10 injured in the fire that broke out in Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery, which owned by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC). 2 deceased workers were an Asian origin, and lost their lives after being transferred to the hospital with injuries, according to the statement released by KNPC. KNPC also stated that the health conditions of the 5 injured workers are critical and the other 5 workers’ condition is stable. KNPC announced that the fire broke out in the Gas Liquefaction Unit No. 32 of the refinery, which was closed for maintenance, and the firefighters brought the fire under control.
