Two cruise ships docked in Bodrum, Turkey’s most important tourism hot spot. Mein Schiff Herz, a 262-meter-tall ship flying the Maltese flag, arrived in Bodrum from Istanbul. There are 1696 passengers and 720 crew members on board, the majority of whom are German. The massive ship will set sail for the Greek island of Rhodes.
The Odyssey of the Seas, the largest cruise ship to visit the country, is the other cruise ship. The massive ship, 347 meters long and flying the Bahamas flag, arrived in Limassol, Cyprus, with 3,620 passengers and 1651 crew members, mostly US citizens.
The ship will depart from Bodrum at 22:00 local time for Kuşadası.
