Twenty people were injured when the bulls attacked during the race held at the Huamantlada Bullfighting event in the city of Huamantla in the province of Tlaxcala. It was reported that 8 people were hospitalized and the condition of 2 of them was serious. Twelve others, who were mildly wounded, received outpatient care.
At the event of the last year, a total of 9 people were injured, 3 of them seriously, and it was determined that all of the injured were intoxicated.
