The 2022 Nobel Economics Prize was awarded to three economists, Ben S. Bernanke, Douglas W. Diamond and Philip H. Dybvig. The three were awarded for their works on banks and financial crises. Each of the winners will receive their 10 million Swedish krona ($883,000) money prize.
