The Russian Defense Ministry announced that 115 Russian soldiers captured in the Kursk region were taken back and 115 Ukrainian soldiers were released in exchange as a result of negotiations mediated by the United Arab Emirates.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy announced in a recent statement that Ukrainian forces had seized more than 1,250 square kilometers of land in the Kursk region and had gained control of a total of 92 settlements.
