An explosion occurred after a fire broke out in a textile shop on the ground floor of an apartment in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, Türkiye. The growing flames quickly spread to the apartments on the upper floor. Twenty-five residents were hospitalized due to smoke inhalation. The shop owner stated that the loss was 15 million TL.
It was said that the explosion was caused by gas compression caused by the fire. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
