A fire broke out in night hours at Waahen Bazaar located at Hargeisa city of Somali’s Somaliland region. In a short span of time, the fire spread out buildings around the bazaar. While the fire brought under control as a result of the firefighting efforts that lasted for hours, hundreds of shops were turned into ashes. Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi announced that there was no loss of life but 28 people were injured in the fire. Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Israeli and US delegations, who were in Doha for negotiations, have returned home for consultations. The current agreement being discussed includes the exchange of hostages and prisoners, with plans for further talks on a permanent ceasefire and the release of additional hostages.
