A series of armed attacks in Rotterdam, Netherlands, at the Erasmus Medical Center and a residential home resulted in multiple fatalities. A 14-year-old girl injured in the home attack could not be saved despite medical intervention. The attacker, a 32-year-old student at the medical center, also killed the girl’s mother and a 46-year-old male teacher. The motives behind the attacks are unknown, and the attacker’s identity has not been disclosed. Fires were set at both attack locations.
