Rock settlements dating back 3,000 years were discovered along the shores of the Atatürk Dam Reservoir in Adıyaman, Türkiye, following the receding waters. These settlements, identified by Adıyaman Museum Director Mehmet Alkan and his team, were located 3 kilometers from previously uncovered rock paintings. The team found human-made cavities, channels, and pottery fragments. Alkan noted the importance of these findings, linking them to Kaşa settlements and providing insight into ancient life in the region. Scanning of the area will continue for further exploration.
