A funeral was held today for the 30 victims of the Srebrenica genocide, which is defined as the greatest human tragedy in Europe after the Second World War. 30 people whose identities were determined were buried in a ceremony held on the anniversary of the genocide. Speaking at the ceremony, Denis Becirovic, Member of the Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, noted that the facts regarding the Bosnian genocide should continue to be told. “It was an international armed conflict, not a civil war in our country,” Becirovic said.
The victims of the Genocide were buried amid the tears of their relatives after the funeral prayer led by Reisü’l-ulema Husein Kavazovic.
