A crowd of Turkish-speaking people held a marching as a part of the 39th Turkish Day and Festival in New York, US. Turkish-US clubs and schools, 3 big Turkish football teams, Turks and Azerbaijanis from Cyprus and Turkmenistan participated in the march that lasted for about an hour on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Meanwhşle, the ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Turkey to Washington, Hazar İbrahim and Hasan Murad Marjan, also participated in the march where Mehter Platoon anthems were played. In addition to that, the Azerbaijani people participated in the march with a specially decorated caravan. Young people in national costumes also took part in the caravan decorated with Azerbaijani flags. They chanted “Karabakh is Azerbaijan” and “Long live Azerbaijan”. The march ended at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza Park Square in front of the United Nations (UN) Headquarters. A concert program was shown in the square with the participation of Turkish artist Hande Yener.
