Clashes broke out between Israeli forces and Palestinians in the city of Ramallah, located in the West Bank region of Palestine. During the clashes, 4 Palestinians were wounded after Israeli forces opened fire. Also during the incident, a Palestinian woman was injured after a Israeli forces’ military vehicle collided with a Palestinian vehicle. Local authorities announced that the injured people were taken to the hospital.
Andriy Portnov, former aide to ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead in Madrid’s upscale Pozuelo de Alarcon district. Spanish authorities say unidentified gunmen opened fire as the 52-year-old was dropping off his children at school, striking him in the back and head before fleeing.
Portnov, a former MP and lawyer, fled Ukraine with Yanukovych in 2014, briefly returned in 2019, and was later sanctioned by the U.S. for alleged judicial corruption.
