A four-story apartment building in the Janga district of Recife, the capital of the state of Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil, collapsed for an unknown reason. Local authorities reported that eight people, two of whom were children, lost their lives while four were rescued. Teams are searching for five people under the debris.
