40 Killed, 347 Went Missing after Floods in Afghanistan

Floods that occurred after heavy rain in Nangarhar province in the east of Afghanistan caused disaster in Jalalabad city, Sukh Rod region and neighboring regions located next to the Pakistan border. The Ministry of Health reported that 40 people lost their lives and 347 people were injured, and the death toll may increase.

Heavy rains and floods that have occurred in Afghanistan since May have killed more than 400 people and left thousands homeless.
