The winter storm that ravaged North America has claimed 57 lives in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The temperature dropped to minus 15 degrees in northern and eastern Mexico, as well as in the Valley of Mexico. According to reports, three people died from hypothermia caused by extreme cold in Mexico. The air temperature dropped to minus 43 degrees in the United States and Canada, with at least 50 people in the United States and four people in Canada dying as a result of extreme cold and traffic accidents.
