Around 1,500 police were deployed at 21 protests involving both pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian groups, with reinforcements from five states. While pro-Israel rallies were permitted, Berlin police banned a planned pro-Palestinian demonstration at Alexanderplatz, prompting about 500 people to gather despite the ban.
