The Palestinian Red Crescent announced that 6-year-old Hind Rajab, who was stuck in a vehicle with his dead relatives after an Israeli attack, and one of their rescue team members, who was dispatched to rescue her 12 days ago, were found dead in Gaza. The ambulance, which was spotted just a few meters away from the vehicle in which Hind was trapped, was deliberately targeted by Israeli soldiers, according to the organization.
Andriy Portnov, former aide to ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead in Madrid’s upscale Pozuelo de Alarcon district. Spanish authorities say unidentified gunmen opened fire as the 52-year-old was dropping off his children at school, striking him in the back and head before fleeing.
Portnov, a former MP and lawyer, fled Ukraine with Yanukovych in 2014, briefly returned in 2019, and was later sanctioned by the U.S. for alleged judicial corruption.
