An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 occurred at 04:17 at a depth of 7 kilometers in the Pazarcık district of Türkiye’s Kahramanmaraş province. Turkish Disaster and Management Authority (AFAD) announced that the earthquake, followed by 66 aftershocks, 3 of which were 6 magnitude, were felt in 10 provinces, including large cities such as Adana and Diyarbakır, and have caused 217 deaths and 2,323 injuries.
Hundreds of health and rescue teams dispatched from various cities continue rescue operations in the locations under harsh weather conditions.
