The Kenya Red Cross Society reported that 75 people died in the ongoing floodings in various parts of the country due to the heavy rains. It was also stated that over 40,000 people were displaced and more than 100,000 people were affected in total.
Kenya’s meteorological department expects more heavy rainfall is to occur.
