In Artvin’s Kemalpaşa district, a single-story building collapsed near a construction site, trapping a 91-year-old man, Ziya Tatar, inside. Moments before the collapse, Tatar entered a grocery store, despite warnings from bystanders. The store owner had already evacuated, aware of the collapse risk due to nearby excavation work. A citizen attempted to rescue Tatar, but the building came down. Fortunately, Tatar survived with minor injuries, and the dramatic incident was captured on a mobile phone.
