According to the report published by the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), 98 journalists were killed, and at least 393 journalists were either detained or arrested this year. It was stated in the report that 68 of the journalists mentioned in the report were killed in the Hamas-Israel war, which has been the deadliest conflict for journalists since the beginning of IFJ’s records in 1990.
The Federation called on the international community to take action to protect journalists and prosecute those responsible.
