The final hearing of the case opened in Russia regarding the plane crash that killed 41 people 4 years ago was held. At the hearing in the Khimki City Court, the court prosecutor demanded that pilot Denis Evdokimov be sentenced to 6 years in prison for failing to comply with flight safety and causing the death of more than 2 people. The court accepted the prosecutor’s request in line with the report of the Russian Investigative Committee and Russian experts, which stated that the pilot did not switch to the emergency code and did not comply with the safe landing procedures. The Russian pilot will be sent to a prison that will be determined later, and he will complete his sentence there.
