Three Kosovan police officers, who were detained by the Serbian police after crossing into Serbian territory and then arrested by the court in Kraljevo with a one-month detention order, were released after 12 days. The officers will be handed over to the Kosovan police today.
The officers were detained by Serbian police at the Jarinje border on the Serbia-Kosovo border on the grounds that they were planning a demonstration in Serbia on 14 June. Several calls for the unconditional release of the policemen were issued by KFOR, the USA, the EU, and Serbia.
