A tornado caused chaos in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. The roofs of some houses were blown away by the tornado, while some trees were ripped away by the strong winds. At least 125 houses were damaged, while nearly 1,600 buildings were left without power, according to the Ottawa Fire Service. The blown away debris damaged several parked vehicles on the streets. No one was killed or injured.

Syringe Attacks and Violence Mar France’s Music Festival

During France’s Fête de la Musique, 145 women reported syringe attacks at concerts and street events. Victims were hospitalized with symptoms like dizziness and nausea. Twelve suspects were detained.

Nationwide unrest left over 1,500 injured, including 13 police officers. Riots led to looting, 51 vehicles burned, and 371 arrests.
