55 pilot whales stranded in Scotland

Fifty-five pilot whales stranded on the Scottish Isle of Lewis. Authorities tried to return the whales to the sea but managed to save only one of them. The remaining whales were euthanized. British Divers Marine Life Rescue teams said that the pod might have followed the pregnant pilot whale that washed ashore due to complications during birth. The carcasses will be examined to determine the cause of the incident.
