A fire broke out around 15:00 today on the roof of a three-story building located on Istiklal Avenue in the famous district of Beyoğlu, in Türkiye’s Istanbul. The smoke rising from the building caused panic in the surrounding area. The fire was extinguished before it could grow substantially. It was later revealed that the fire started during the cleaning of the building’s chimney.
