Iranian forces detained ten foreign nationals related to the armed attack that was carried out by two people on the Shah Cheragh Tomb in Shiraz, Fars province. One of the two attackers was caught inside the tomb, and four more people were detained after the first interrogation. According to the authorities, the death toll increased to five, and there are eight injured who are being treated at hospitals.
Thirteen people, including two children, were killed and forty others were injured in the armed attack on the same tomb on October 26, 2022. The attack was claimed by DAESH.
