A forest fire in the city of Gelendzhik, one of the popular holiday destinations in Russia, has burned 118 hectares of land. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia stated that the flames did not spread to residential areas. The Ministry of Interior reported that the fire was caused by the electric cables used in the garden of a 40-year-old local and the person was taken into custody.
