The loss of life is increasing in the earthquake in the Al-Huz region of Morocco, which was reported to be 7.2 magnitude. The Moroccan Ministry of Interior stated that the number of people who lost their lives due to the earthquake increased to 2,012 and the number of injured people to 2,059. In the statement, it was noted that 1,404 of the injured people were in serious condition. The highest number of deaths was recorded in the Al-Huz region and the city of Taroudant.
