Due to the massive floods that devastated the eastern portion of Libya, Tükiye sent three planes carrying search and rescue teams and humanitarian aid to Libya on Tuesday, according to the Turkish Defense Ministry. “We continue to deliver search and rescue teams and humanitarian supplies to the friendly and brotherly country Libya,” the ministry said.

According to Libya’s eastern-based Interior Ministry, massive floods brought by Storm Daniel devastated the eastern section of the nation on Sunday, killing 3,060 people and leaving 5,200 people missing in the Libyan city of Derna. The hurricane also wreaked havoc on infrastructure and property.
