A Spirit Airlines plane engine caught fire after a bird hit the right engine during the take off at the Atlantic City International Airport in New Jersey, USA. The pilot safely stopped the accelerating plane on the runway, and ordered emergency evacuation of passengers aboard. Footage shows passengers escaping the plane using evacuation slides in panic. A total of 107 people were on board at the time. Two passengers suffered minor injuries, officials said.
The human cost of Israel’s airstrikes on Iran is becoming clearer. According to Iranian media, 78 people were killed and 329 injured in the attacks on Tehran. The East Azerbaijan Province Crisis Management Directorate reported that 5 people were killed and 12 injured in Tabriz.
