‘Spider Forests,’ a living tree museum located within the borders of Kürtün district of Gümüşhane and one of Turkey’s important mixed forests, with trees that are hundreds of years old reaching into the sky, has transformed into a riot of colors with the arrival of autumn. The Spider Forests hosted a record number of hikers who wished to witness the gurgling streams, labyrinthine paths, rugged slopes, waterfalls, endemic plant diversity, and unique landscapes as part of an annual autumn walking event.
