Pakistan’s exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned to his country from England after nearly 4 years. After holding some meetings in the capital, Islamabad, Sharif went to Lahore and spoke at a rally attended by 100,000 people. Addressing his supporters at Minar-e Pakistan in Lahore, Sharif said, “I am here with you today after a few years. Nothing changes in the love between us. “I am proud of the love I see in your eyes,” he said.
Sharif repeated that fake cases were filed against him and the party leaders and said he never betrayed his supporters.
