Man Crafts Miniature Houses to Cope with Wife’s Loss

Saim Yıldıztaşkan from Eskişehir found solace in crafting miniature houses after his wife, Niğmet Yıldıztaşkan, died in a tragic traffic accident five years ago. Known as “Saim Dede” among neighbors, he shares his passion by gifting these models and is now replicating historical sites in Sivrihisar. Seeking Mayor Hamid Yüzgüllü’s support, Yıldıztaşkan aims to honor his wife’s memory through his craftsmanship, which he turned to as a way of coping with his loss.
