An armed attack was carried out on the nightclub “Cantina La 25” in the city of Morelia in the Mexican state of Michoacan at around 03:30 local time, 6 people were killed and 2 were injured. Morelia police announced that two vehicles used by the attackers to flee the scene were seized in a traffic-free area. The Michoacan State Attorney General’s Office said that the identities of the attackers have not yet been determined. The Attorney General’s Office said that an investigation was launched to reveal all the facts about the incident
Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated after India suspended the 1960 Indus Water Treaty following a deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed 26 people.
Pakistan rejected India’s move, warning that any attempt to block or divert the Indus River flow would be seen as an “act of war.” Islamabad closed the Wagah Border, halted trade and airspace access for Indian carriers, and expelled Indian military advisors. Visas for Indian citizens were also suspended.
India blamed Pakistan for supporting terrorism after the attack claimed by the “Kashmir Resistance” group. In response, it expelled Pakistani diplomats, cancelled visas, and gave Pakistani citizens 48 hours to leave.
The dispute adds new strain to the long-standing conflict over Kashmir, a region both nations claim but partially control.
