In Pforzheim, Germany, police officers used violence against a 25-year-old man while trying to neutralize him. Pforzheim Police Headquarters announced in a press release about the incident that the young man was drunk, exhibited aggressive attitudes and was taken into custody upon a tip-off. The man was also reportedly attacked police officers, where a policeman was injured. “The video shows the police trying to end the youth’s resistance with simple physical violence and detain him. Such missions often produce images that raise some questions,” Pforzheim Police Spokesman Dirk Wagner said.
It was announced that the man was drunk, and he was released the next day.
