Turkish intelligence and police teams conducted “Operation MOLE” across eight provinces in Istanbul to uncover international espionage activities, Türkiye’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated on social media. They captured 33 foreign nationals suspected of being connected to the Israeli Intelligence Service. This operation seized large sums of money in various currencies, firearms, and digital materials. Yerlikaya emphasized their firm stance against activities that threaten Türkiye’s unity and commended the efforts in combating organized crime and safeguarding national security.
