Mexicans march down major avenues in Mexico City and across the country to commemorate the Day of the Dead (Da de Muertos). People gathered on the streets to remember those who died in this year’s Covid-19 pandemic. The Day of the Dead parade returned to Mexico City, bringing over 1,000 participants, ten floats, four musical stars, and 350 dancers and acrobats.
The ceremonies were canceled by the government last year due to the pandemic. The Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead is celebrated on November 1-2 every year to commemorate the dead.
