The record-breaking year witnessed 56.7 million visitors, with an average per capita nightly spending of $99. Russia took the lead in visitor numbers with 6.3 million, followed by Germany with 6.2 million and the United Kingdom with 3.8 million. Minister Ersoy noted the return to pre-pandemic average length of stay at 9.8 nights in 2023, attributing the decrease to global economic factors while emphasizing the sustained allure of travel among tourists.
The breathtaking scenery of Avusor Plateau in Rize’s Çamlıhemşin district in Türkiye, often compared to Scandinavia, was captured by an FPV drone.
