The Muş Plain in Türkiye is experiencing an early bloom of snowdrops, typically heralds of spring, due to a milder winter compared to previous years. The elegant dance of these flowers, decorating the plain as snow melts, has become a captivating sight. However, authorities warn that plucking these snowdrops, which contribute to the unique visual landscape of the Muş Plain, will result in an increased administrative penalty. The fine for this act, raised by 58.46% based on the revaluation rate, now stands at 387,142 TL ($12500). This measure aims to protect the region’s diverse flora, including many endemic plant species, and preserve the natural beauty that marks the arrival of spring in Muş.
